If you’re also looking for ways to get nutritious meals prepared without adding more to your busy schedule, take these tips to maximize the convenience of true dump-and-go style recipes:

  • Keep popular seasoning blends premixed in your pantry (or a stock of store-bought blends) so you don’t have to measure multiple spices every time.
  • Chop up fresh veggies ahead of time and store in the fridge or freezer. Veggies like onions, bell peppers, carrots, and celery are staples in many recipes, and chopping and freezing are easy ways to prevent food waste while saving a step later.
  • Use precut frozen veggies when applicable for even smoother assembly.
