The simple seasonings used in this recipe help tenderize the pork and add even more flavor to the meat.

Ingredients You’ll Need To Make BBQ Pork Freezer Meal…

  • 3 pound boneless pork shoulder
  • 2 tablespoons herb and garlic seasoning
  • 1/2 cup bbq sauce
  • 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 1/4 cup chicken broth

How To Make Freezer Meal BBQ Pork

  1. Place pork shoulder in a large freezer bag
  2. Whisk together the remaining ingredients and pour over top
  3. Remove air and seal
  4. Store in fridge up to 3 days or freezer up to 3 months
  5. Fully thaw overnight in fridge before cooking
  6. Place thawed ingredients in slow cooker and cook for 4-5 hours on high or 8-10 on low
  7. Remove pork and shred
  8. Add additional BBQ sauce as desired

*Internal temperature of the meat should be 205 degrees F*

Pro Tips…

The pork shoulder should be cooked to internal temp of 205 degrees F so that it is able to be easily shredded.

 

The pork shoulder can be cut into smaller chucks if desired. This will make it cook faster.

 

Mix it up! Try different BBQ sauce flavors! Doing so will allow you to customize this meal to your family’s tastes.
