Beef Ragu uses added veggies and chuck roast to make this meal a super rich and flavorful dinner while still being healthy.

 

 

You can serve Beef Ragu over pasta, with gnocchi, or any way you prefer. The possibilities are endless!

Ingredients You’ll Need To Make Beef Ragu Freezer Meal:

  • chuck roast
  • herb and garlic seasoning
  • carrot
  • celery
  • onion
  • jarred minced garlic
  • canned crushed tomatoes
  • beef broth
  • honey

How To Make Beef Ragu For The Freezer:

  1. Add all ingredients to freezer bag
  2. Remove air and seal well
  3. Freeze for up to 3 months
  4. Fully thaw overnight in fridge before cooking
  5. Add contents of bag to slow cooker
  6. Cover and cook on high for 4-5 hours or low for 8-10 until roast is fall-apart tender

Pro Tips:

This recipe makes a lot! You can cut in half to make smaller servings.

 

Serve Beef Ragu with a side salad and pasta. Or, stir in gnocchi for the last 15 minutes of cook time for a super easy meal.

 

Use leftover Beef Ragu to make lasagna or other baked pasta dishes.

  • 2 pound chuck roast
  • 2 tablespoons herb and garlic seasoning
  • 1/2 cup diced carrot
  • 1/4 cup diced celery
  • 1/4 cup finely diced onion
  • 2 teaspoons jarred minced garlic
  • 56 oz canned crushed tomatoes
  • 1/2 cup beef broth
  • 2 tablespoons honey

Instructions
 

  • Add all ingredients to freezer bag
