Slow Cooker Cream Cheese Corn
Hi all!! Super busy week this week today so I will spare you from too much babbling on my part. I’ve always been into sharing recipes that are newly created and hopefully creative! But then I got to thinking…. if I make something over and over again and it’s the same thing that my mom makes over and over again and it’s a recipe that my grandma gave us then perhaps it just might be worth sharing with you!
I hope you agree! I’ve run into people along the way that have their own version of this recipe and some who have never heard of it. If you’ve never had it then it’s time to try!
Only 4 ingredients but they blend together for the perfect side.
Rarely ever do we have more than one little container leftover after a family holiday gathering. Easily double or triple the recipe as needed.

What would you recommend for con time if I double the recipe?
Your cook time should not change significantly, just be sure to use a larger slow cooker (5 qt)
Can you use canned corn?
If you do I’d make sure your cream cheese is at room temp before starting and then reduce cooking time.
My guests loved this dish. I used garlic salt instead!! It’s been requested for our next get together.
Hooray! Love to hear that!!
Can you freeze this and reheat a different time? Need to make a lot for a grad party and would like to make some in the crock pot the day of, but have some ready to reheat quickly and drop in the crock pot if I run out.
I don’t think this would freeze well at all, because the cream cheese would separate and become oily, unfortunately.
Have made this for years. Depending on the sweetness of the corn I may add a little more sugar and recently I have started adding some thyme. Always everyone’s favorite veggie at any gathering.
We make this at every family gathering and love it! We recently changed it up by adding 4 oz. of Pepper Jack cheese to the mix. It’s now even better. For a tiny kick of spicy flavor, try it!
That sounds really good!
