Pressure Cooker Recipes vs. Slow Cooker Recipes

Lately pressure cooker recipes have come into the spotlight as a new way to get dinner on the table faster. It's natural that people have started comparing a pressure cooker to a slow cooker because they are both kitchen appliances intended to help you get dinner made with less effort. Let's take a look at some of the benefits and differences!
- you can start a pressure cooker recipe at the end of the day and still have a hands-off meal with that slow cooked result.
- Keep in mind that many recipes don't include time to come to pressure or pressure release, so you may need to factor in extra time (I include it here on my recipes)
- pressure cooker recipes can be great for meal prep or unusual items, like hard boiled eggs!
If you don't already have a pressure cooker, the most popular model right now is the Instant Pot brand! Here is the one I have and use at my house and it's got plenty of functionality and is the right size for most families!
