Slow Cooker Eggnog Lattes
Enjoy a tasty treat this holiday season! Slow Cooker Eggnog Lattes are perfect for entertaining or a cozy evening by the fire!
That time of year has finally arrived!! The time to cozy up to a warm fire and sip on your favorite drink while watching Christmas movies, wrapping gifts or enjoying time with friends and family. While I may not love the cold weather outside, I do love using my slow cooker to make delicious meals and tasty drinks to share! These Slow Cooker Eggnog Lattes are a drink made for the season! All you eggnog lovers out there, I think you will truly enjoy this drink. It’s simple to make and you can leave it steaming away in the slow cooker to sip on all day long.
If you usually head to the coffee shop for a drink like this then I think you’ll be surprised how easy (and so much more cost effective it is!). You really just need to brew a strong pot of coffee using a ground espresso blend and add in some delicious egg nog! It’s not much more complicated than that. And when you’re making an eggnog latte, you know that you’ve got to use the best eggnog! I use AE Lower Sugar Eggnog but you could also use classic Eggnog as well.
After visiting the AE Dairy headquarters in Des Moines, I use their products in my kitchen even more. I love knowing where my food is coming from and knowing that what I’m serving my family is high quality so I love that AE Dairy is a family owned company that takes creating a great product very seriously. In fact, one of my favorite parts of my visit was that I was able to participate in their weekly tastings where members of the team including the CEO make sure that every product is up to their standards. I was bummed it was springtime, because I really would have loved tasting all the eggnogs, but thankfully the winter season is here and they have arrived!

I have a colesteral problem so I was thinking about substituting low fat egg nog, skim milk in place of whole and light or fat free cool whip instead of heavy cream. It should work out fine!!!
