Place chicken, broth, sauce, and ranch seasoning in slow cooker
Cover and cook on high for 2-3 hours or low for 5-7 hours until chicken is fully cooked
Using two forks, shred chicken and return it to slow cooker
Add softened cream cheese and shredded cheddar cheese to chicken
Cover again and let dip continue to heat until cheese is fully melted (about 30 minutes)
Stir until smooth and serve with chips or as desired
Store in the fridge for up to 3 days and reheat in the microwave or the slow cooker on the warm setting.
Leftovers are delicious served either hot or cold.
I made this in my 2-quart slow cooker on low for 5 hours and then allowed another 30 minutes to melt the cheeses.
