Remove chicken, shred, and return it to slow cooker
Turn the slow cooker to high

Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 3 days.
Be sure to use a 4-quart or larger slow cooker for this recipe so that you have enough room to stir noodles.
Stir a few times while the noodles cook to prevent them from sticking together.
If you use dried noodles instead of frozen noodles, you may need to add more liquid. Monitor, add broth as needed, and stir often.
If preferred, chop the cooked chicken into bite-sized pieces before placing it in the slow cooker instead of shredding it when cooked.
This recipe is designed and has only been tested with frozen homestyle egg noodles.
