Bring a taste of the holidays to your weeknight menu with home-cooked, slow cooker chicken and stuffing! Get delicious seasonal taste without prepping each item separately. It’s a complete all-in-one meal that will have your family asking for seconds!
Add chicken to slow cooker and sprinkle with seasoning blend evenly
Top with green beans and carrots (or vegetables of choice)
Top with contents of stuffing box and spread evenly over chicken
Melt butter in microwave in a small glass bowl and let it cool slightly
Whisk flour into melted butter until smooth
Whisk in broth, cream, bouillon, and salt
Pour over mixture in slow cooker
Cover and cook on high for 2-3 hours or low for 4-6 hours until chicken is cooked through
If desired, leave cover off slow cooker for the last 30 minutes to crisp up stuffing
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
Reheat in a 350 ℉ oven (covered with foil) for 15-20 minutes, and broil briefly to re-crisp the top (optional). Or, use the microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring occasionally.
Layer the ingredients instead of stirring to keep the texture of the stuffing.
Grease the slow cooker or use a liner for easy cleanup.
