2 pounds russet potatoes 1 1/2 cups water 1/2 cup cream or half and half (more to taste/texture desired) 4 T butter 1 teaspoon salt
Add water to bottom of pressure cooker or Instant Pot
Peel potatoes if desired and cut into chucks about 2 inches each
Place on trivet in electric pressure cooker
Cover and set to 8 minutes high pressure according to manufacturer instructions
Perform a quick release according to manufacturer instructions (each pot is a little different)
Remove potatoes to bowl
Add cream, butter and salt to taste
