Total Time 4 hours 20 minutes
Servings 6 sliders
Calories 260kcal

Ingredients

  • 1 pound lean ground beef (I used 93%)
  • 2 jalapeno peppers seeded and diced (I used 1 1/2 smallish peppers)
  • 1 teaspoon Grill Mates burger or steak seasoning (I used Worcestershire Pub Burger flavor)
  • 1/2 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 6 mini buns or King's Hawaiian Rolls
  • Mayo

Instructions

  • Place a wire rack in bottom of slow cooker or fashion one from aluminum foil (see notes)
  • In small bowl mix together hamburger, jalapenos, seasoning and cheese by hand until well mixed
  • Form into 6 equal sized mini hamburger patties
  • Place on rack in slow cooker
  • Cover and cook on high for 3-4 hours or low for 6-8 until cooked through
  • Serve on buns with a dab of mayo or as desired

Notes

I cooked these for 3 1/2 hours on high in my 6 quart oval slow cooker
To make a foil rack for my slow cooker I used about 4-5 feet of foil. I separated it into about 3 sections and rolled it up lengthwise and then coiled it around the bottom of the crock. I didn't follow any particular pattern I just made it so it was close enough together to hold the burgers but with enough space to let any grease drain off.
