Spicy Brussels Sprouts
Just as important as the main dish, side dish recipes don't always get enough attention! Makes these simple oven roasted Spicy Brussels Sprouts and they just may steal the show!

1 pound brussels sprouts 1/4 cup olive oil 1/2 teaspoon chipotle chili powder 1/2 teaspoon salt 1/4 teaspoon pepper
Preheat oven to 400 degrees
Wash and dry brussels sprouts
Cut off woody end of step and slice in half lengthwise
Toss with olive oil and seasonings
Place on foil lined cookie sheet in preheated oven for 25-45 minutes depending on size
They are done when they are fork tender and the outer leaves have started to turn crispy and brown
Stir every so often while cooking to keep from drying out.
Make sure Brussels sprouts are compact, dense, don't have yellow or brown spots, and don't have dark leaves falling off.
