  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 12 oz sweet potato peeled and diced
  • 1/ 2 cup diced yellow onion
  • 2 teaspoons jarred minced garlic
  • 2 tablespoons chili seasoning
  • ¼ teaspoon chipotle chili powder
  • 26 oz can crushed tomatoes
  • 14 oz can diced tomatoes
  • 1 cup chicken broth


  • Brown ground turkey in skillet or multi-cooker, breaking apart with spatula, until cooked through
  • Transfer to slow cooker and add remaining ingredients and stir
  • Cover and heat on high for 2-3 hours or low for 4-6
  • Serve with cheese, crushed chips, sour cream and fresh cilantro or as desired


  • Use regular or fire-roasted diced and crushed tomatoes
  • Add black beans if desired
  • Reduce or increase broth depending on how thick you like your chili
