For chops:
- 4 thick cut pork chops
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 teaspoon dried rubbed sage
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1 teaspoon roasted garlic powder
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
For salsa:
- 3 ripe peaches
- 1 jalapeno
- 2 tablespoons red onion
- 2 red mini sweet peppers
- 1 tablespoon lime juice
- 1 teaspoon olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon sea salt
For chops:
Heat skillet or
multi-cooker to medium-high heat
Melt butter in skillet
Season chops with seasonings, using hands to press seasoning into chops
Brown for about 3-4 minutes on each side or until golden brown
Transfer to slow cooker and add broth
Cover and cook on high for 3-4 hours or low for 6-8
For salsa:
Peel and dice peaches (remove pit)
Peel and dice onion
Remove ribs and seeds from peppers and finely dice
Toss together in bowl with lime juice, olive oil and salt (to taste)
Serve pork chops topped with salsa
