Ingredients
Pulled Pork:
4
pounds
pork shoulder roast
1
tablespoon
brown sugar
1 1/2
teaspoons
ground mustard
(powdered)

teaspoon
kosher salt
1
teaspoon
garlic powder
1
teaspoon
dried thyme
1/2
teaspoon
paprika
1/2
teaspoon
pepper
Caramelized Shallots:
2
large shallots
2
tablespoons
butter

tablespoon
brown sugar
Instructions
Pulled Pork:
Add pork shoulder to slow cooker
Rub with seasonings
Cover and cook on low for 8-9 hours until pork is fully cooked through
Use two forks to shred
Caramelized Shallots:
Peel and slice shallots
Heat butter in skillet over medium high heat
Add shallots and saute until they soften, about 5-7 minutes
Add sugar and continue to saute, stirring occasionally, until browned and crispy, another 5 minutes or so
Serve pork topped with shallots and

or as desired
