Slow Cooker Cheddar Ale Bread with Dill

Ingredients

  • 3 cups all purpose flour
  • 3 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 teaspoons dill
  • 1 cup sharp cheddar grated
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • 12 oz pale ale or another favorite ale
  • 1/4 cup water

Instructions

  • In mixing bowl stir together dry ingredients
  • Add honey and water and slowly add beer while stirring
  • Continue stirring until well mixed
  • Spray crock well with nonstick spray (or line with parchment paper)
  • Poor batter into crock and spread evenly
  • Brush with melted butter
  • Cook on high for 2 - 4 hours
