Cheesy Slow Cooker Buffalo Chicken Dip in purple polka dot slow cookerIn this house, we love our Kansas State Wildcat Football and have held season tickets longer than I care to admit being out of school. But let’s just say it’s long enough to make game day food kind of my thing. And as much as I love to go to games, I’m not going to lie that it can be so much easier to watch on TV and have a whole row of slow cookers going on the counter with all the game day recipes! Especially when I can have buffalo chicken dip in my Crock-Pot with the cute purple polka dots!

Cheesy Slow Cooker Buffalo Chicken Dip served in metal bowl on white platter with veggies and chipsIf you are like me and love anything buffalo sauce flavor then I think this is the dip for you! It’s easy and it’s tasty! No need to plan out when to have it ready or how to keep it hot like a lot of the oven baked recipes, just throw it in the slow cooker and done!

I might also mention it’s pretty good cold and/or reaheated. I may have eaten the leftovers for lunch for a couple days after. Or maybe it was breakfast. Whatever.

  1. I like this recipe. I done it a few times, but I like spicy, so I add a little extra heat with Fresh diced jalapeños, a favorite jalapeño hot sauce if mine, crushed red pepper and some dry herbs. I also add a little extra cheese as I found it to be a little more of a “wet” dip then I’d prefer from the original recipe.

  2. Hello! I love all of your Recipes …however, I tried doing this buffalo chicken dip and it came out looking like Soup lol. I’m not sure if I put to much chicken broth. What do you think I could do different? Thank you

    1. oh no! Only 1/4 cup of broth shouldn’t have created that issue. I wonder if the chicken breasts had a lot of added water? You could always add more cream cheese, or drain off some of the water before adding cheese.
