Slow Cooker Buffalo Ranch Chicken Tenders

Slow Cooker Ranch Buffalo Chicken Tenders in basket with parchment paperAfter a marathon of cooking all last week and a half-marathon of eating leftovers all weekend I am finally ready to move on from mashed potatoes and Thanksgiving. It was so awesome having our family here at our home to celebrate (and eat!) with us and all the food was really amazing. The last bit of turkey is headed to the freezer so plan on some turkey dishes coming before Christmas! In the meantime I’m thinking about some lighter, healthier eating but it can’t compromise on flavor. These buffalo chicken tenders do the trick! Super simple to make and super versatile, this is just the kind of food I’m craving right now.

Slow Cooker Ranch Buffalo Chicken Tenders in basket with parchment paperSometimes I like making a smaller batch of these just for me so that I can have them for lunch all week. They work really well with a side of cottage cheese or chopped up on top of a salad and drizzled with a little blue cheese dressing.

Slow Cooker Ranch Buffalo Chicken Tenders in basket with parchment paperThe ingredients are simple and you can dress it up any way you like. I used my homemade ranch seasoning but in a pinch just sub it out for a package of dried Hidden Valley Ranch or something similar. Time to max out the flavor!!!

  2. 5 stars
Just made these and they are awesome! I have a small business that I run out of my home, so I’m always working every day. Plus the usual daily duties of cooking meals, laundry and cleaning the house. I had chicken tenders that were near the expiration date and am so tired of the usual recipes. I found this and it looked so easy (and it is!) that I thought “why not?” I cooked on high 3 hours. Chicken is so tender it’s falling apart, but I like it that way. Sauce is excellent (I used 1 TBSP of the Hidden Valley Ranch seasoning, didn’t have any homemade around). As I’m typing this my hubby is heating up mac n cheese to mix the chicken and sauce with. I do believe you have a recipe like that, gotta just find it now! I LOVE crockpot cooking and now am a big fan. Thank you so much for a great tasting easy recipe!

  3. Making this today with Mike’s buffalo sauce and the house smells awesome. I am thickening the sauce a both with flour and adding S&P. Going to serve with Hasselback potatoes brushed with butter and my remaining ranch seasoning. Thanks for the recipe!
